Event Description:
Please join us for the UWLP's second Women's Leadership Forum titled "Utah Women, Giving, and Identity: The Complexity of Philanthropy in Utah." This will be a panel discussion with plenty of time for questions, answers, and overall discussion with attendees. Utah Valley now hosts some of the nation’s most pioneering and prosperous wealth creators, but where fortunes are rising, is philanthropy on track in its growth and innovation? Generous women make a huge difference in communities throughout the nation and throughout the world by using their resources to create new humanitarian initiatives, build cultural institutions, advance programs, and promote policies. But what about Utah County and Utah more broadly? Is it different here? If so, why is it different? How can we create change in helping more women see themselves as philanthropists? Our panel of experts will discuss these interesting questions and also share ways you can use your financial resources, large or small, to make a difference for good.
